Libra

When the Sun left Libra on 23rd October, this not only brought your birthday month to an end but brought you to the start of a 48 hour period where he and Venus, the planet that rules the heart and your ruling planet swapped places. This was a good deal for both. It meant that when the Sun left, he didn't have to close the door or cement your intentions for the coming year. At the same time, because Venus had left Libra six weeks earlier and before your birthday month began, by retrograding back in, she gets to revisit the desires, hopes and aspirations that at the time may have been aspirational or based on guesswork.

Knowing now what you didn't then, Venus will spend the whole month back in Libra, this time a lot more sure of what you want and with the support of planets on the playful, creative and adventurous side of life's fence. At the same time, by the time the Sun returned to your income sector and the solar spotlight shifted onto your income situation, matters and options, Venus had already been here for over six weeks and Mercury had returned three weeks earlier with the smart head for money needed to get your head in the game and to think on your feet. As Mercury will normally only spend 14 to 15 days in your income sector, he is up to something as well.

That something was Mercury's own retrograde turn during the Sun's first and Venus' last full day in your income sector, something that for the first time since 1986, put them in retrograde motion here at the same time. While Mercury will turn direct on 14th November, the same day that Venus will return direct and start heading back, he won't leave until 6th December, keeping the seat warm until Venus returns on 4th December. By then the dwarf planet Ceres, who should be leaving your career sector this month will have turned retrograde in your career sector on 22nd November, the same day the Sun leaves your income sector. This will keep Ceres here until May 2027 and will see her and Venus come together towards the end of December.

Libra

When Venus, the planet of love left Libra on 10th September, your birthday month and new solar year was still nearly two weeks away and while normally here for just 24 days, by the time she left she had already spent five weeks on her annual mission to update your romantic and relationship desires, hopes and aspirations for the coming year. Why then, when you move into the new month, is Venus here? It was two days after the Sun left, bringing your birthday month to an end that Venus retrograded back in for a do over, this time to spend another six weeks here, half of it in retrograde motion and the other half back in direct motion and the timing couldn't have been better.

The day before Venus returned on 25th October the asteroid Juno, who after five months had retrograded back out of your romantic sector in August returned for her own do over. It was shortly after Venus first returned to Libra in early August that Juno retrograded back out, but not before crossing paths. Venus spent her early days in Libra and Juno her final days in your romantic sector at a friendly aspect. While they won't connect directly, having returned within the space of 24 hours, both for do overs and with Venus in retrograde motion until 14th November, not leaving until 4th December and Juno not until January, they will be working to make the month as romantically charged as possible, while making the most of an opportunity for a second chance.

Juno is not on her own in your romantic sector, with Pluto in his first full month back in direct motion here and the North Node continuing to give your heart and matters of the heart a sense of direction. Meanwhile, Venus has returned to find that while she was gone Chiron, the planet of healing has retrograded back in to join the other three planets in your relationship sector. On the relationship front, even after Venus turns direct on 14th November, the focus is very much on the past. In an important month on both fronts, the Moon's return to your romantic sector from 15th November to 18th November and to your relationship sector from 20th November to 22nd November will bring an important chance to check in.
