With Mars not leaving Leo until 26th November, this was always going to be an important month for you personally and potentially even more so than your birthday month itself. Both in terms of what the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos can do for you now and the seeds this is able to plant for the future. When Mars returned at the end of September, it was to begin a new two year Mars cycle and to spend the next six weeks fuelling your passions, drive, warrior and competitive spirit while looking for something to channel this into. This is something that Mars will continue to do until leaving, but by then he will have been here for two months.
Mars is slowing down and the slower a planet the more potent it becomes, but that is only half the story. For the first time in 12 years, Jupiter returned to Leo in June to begin a new 12 year Jupiter cycle of expansion and it is his alignment with Mars that will peak on 16th November, bringing both to their most potent point. This is also when they will both move into a friendly aspect to the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos in an adventurous part of your chart. It is just before Mars leaves on 26th November that on 22nd November, as he does at this same time each year, the Sun will return to your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery and into harmony.
With Saturn and Neptune turning direct in your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery next month, the whole playful, creative and adventurous side of life’s fence is powering up. This isn’t something Mars is going to miss, for a retrograde turn in the New Year will see him turn around and in February 2027 he will return to spend another three months in Leo. By the time Mars turns retrograde in the New Year, he will have been in your income sector for six weeks, with his return on 26th November the start of his war on income roadblocks and barriers. Meanwhile, having retrograded back to spend the whole month back in your communication sector, Venus is part of a team that is making this a special month on the communication, social and relationship fronts.

On both the romantic and relationship fronts, there is new energy and while in one case this is breathing new life into something that may have been flagging, in the other it is something that is brand new. It is on the relationship front that there has been a breath of fresh air, partly because Pluto’s direct turn in your relationship sector last month was a chance to put the past behind you and partly because of the return of the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment last month. Part of what you are ready to put behind you is that when Mars clashed with Pluto shortly after returning to Leo at the end of September, it was the last in a long line of clashes stretching all the way back to June.
With Pluto in just the second year of a 20 year transit through your relationship sector, he is still in his early degrees, so any planet returning to Leo was going to clash, putting a balance between your own and your relationship needs to the test. Mars is in Leo until 26th November but is well clear of any clash and while the lunar nodes are still monitoring a balance between your own and your relationship needs, the tension is gone. With Pluto back in direct motion and Juno not leaving until January, there is not only a chance to look to the future with confidence but to benefit from having Venus, the planet of love retrograde back in to spend the whole of November in your communication sector.
Until turning direct on 14th November Venus will be focused on giving your heart, relationships, the past and unsaid words a voice. With Venus and Juno having both left and now back for do overs, they will be making the most of a second chance to get the communication lines open. Helping with that will be the Moon’s return to your relationship sector from 15th November to 18th November. The something new will be the Sun’s return to your romantic sector on 22nd November. Apart from the Moon’s monthly visits, there has been no planetary activity on the romantic front since the New Year, but with Mercury returning early next month and Venus in early January, this bodes well for a romantically charged end to 2026 and start to 2027. The Moon’s return from 10th November to 13th November will be a chance for a practice run.
